to be honest, i had no intention of watching grimm in the first place -- cop shows tend to bore me and the market's already flooded with supernatural offerings. however, after reading a glowing review of grimm's dark and nuanced take on the modern fairy tale (as opposed to the fantastical sparkly trash that is once upon a time) i decided to give it a go.
i have to say that i was pleasantly surprised by grimm and i look forward to seeing where the show's mythology might lead us. i was also surprised by the hotty mchottness of its leading man, david giuntoli. he was all "wahh, i might be a supernatural fairy tale detective person!" and i was all like "this bed's juuust right!"
(ew, television dinner. ew.)
verdict: would watch again!
* ps a quick glance at mr. giuntoli's imdb page tells me that his big break was... ROAD RULES. how embarrassing.
* pps to his credit, i think he may actually be a legit actor. i mean, he totally played a gay soldier on grey's anatomy!
* ppps wait, this is tv crush of the week. no judging.
